This was originally planned as a short stop over to break up our journey from the lakes but we definitely underestimated the time required to see everything that the area has to offer.
We did manage a trip up to Hawes to meet up with Dusty & Jean for tea, we went “caving” on a trip round the White Scar caves at Ingleton and with Hazel we walked round the Ingleton waterfall trail and the added bonus was that it was a 1940’s weekend with dancing in the street!There was still so much left to see and do and we will definitely be back…
