After hearing the latest weather forecast for Skye for the next week which offered us 60 - 70mph winds and constant rain, we decided that we would really like an extra week at the relatively safe haven of Glencoe instead, so that was where we headed! We can still catch a ferry over to Skye (weather permitting) from here, so we might not miss out completely.
Once the torrential rain had stopped (and our jackets had dried out) the clouds lifted to reveal a fantastic view of the mountains from our new campsite.
Bring on the sun...
Hi found out how to comment at last,easy really just needed to put anonymous in,sounds like you are getting a bit of mixed weather,but scotland is beautiful whatever the weather,enjoy, think we will be getting ready for another trip soon,it must be the gypsy blood in us,take care. Jean & Dusty ..x
